Saline County Marriage Records
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Vital Statistics Office maintains marriage records for the state dating back to May 1, 1913. Marriage record requests can be made in person, by mail, by phone, or online through the VitalChek ordering service.

Note: In Kansas, certified copies of vital records, including marriage certificates, are released only to the person named on the record, immediate family, a legal representative, or those with a direct interest, such as a beneficiary or joint property owner.

Saline Birth and Death Records
Individuals can obtain Saline County birth and death certificates from July 1, 1911,from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Vital Statistics office. The KDHE vital statistics office is responsible for a statewide record of births and deaths, including those for Saline County. However, certified copies of these records are available only to those named on the record, their immediate family, a legal representative, or individuals who can prove a direct interest.
Birth records are used for school enrollment, starting employment, qualifying for subsidized housing, collecting life insurance, and transferring property, while death records are primarily used to settle estates, claim pensions, and process survivor benefits for the decedent.
